Party Block - 2nd floor Plaza & ground floor Courtyard West Wing (see standard room types above)- $109 per night

All rooms include a fridge. All rooms have a window, but only some apartments have a balcony. Jr Suites have a microwave and extra sink. Apartments have a full kitchen.
Please note: Any smoking or vaping in your room will result in a large cash fine.
Room Availability
Some room types may book out sooner than others. Our booking system works on a ‘room block’ basis, and periodically, additional rooms will be added to that block. This is why you may be told you cannot book a room of that type or that duration when you call but you can later on. 30 days before the convention, all available rooms in our block are RELEASED, so please book your room before that to guarantee availability!
If you cannot book the room you want, consider booking a different room type or for a shorter time so you can change it later. We suggest calling back a week or two after that to see if additional rooms have opened up.
Room parties
Rooms intending to have social gatherings and who would like close access to smoking and vaping areas can book within our party block. Please ONLY book in this area if you and your guests do not mind a little extra noise next door, in the hallways, and around you. Party rooms are booked directly through the convention, NOT through the hotel. The party block is now full.
While we are calling this a party block, we would appreciate if guests kept their music to a reasonable level (100db or lower) and refrained from screaming things in the hallway. Also, please keep your doors closed at ALL times, and pad your door latch if you intend to use it to prop the door open (a sock works well). All persons consuming alcohol MUST be 19 years of age or older, and proof must be shown that rooms are checking for this if they are dispensing alcohol (wrist-bands, ID check, etc).
Note that your rented hotel room is exclusively your responsibility for the duration of your stay and you will be held responsible for anything that happens in it. Please be nice to our new hotel and show them we know how to enjoy ourselves responsibly, or we will have to shut you down!
Remember, all rooms are NON-SMOKING and NON-VAPING, including balconies. If you or your guests wish to smoke or vape, please head to the nearest designated smoking area. The hotel will be assigning significant fines to offending rooms. We are told that hotel security will be checking for this. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!
IMPORTANT: if you do not book within the party block, it is very likely that your audible room parties will be shut down! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Apartment Suites
The Apartment suites are located in an area of the hotel shared by residential tenants. As a result, these rooms will not be capable of having room parties. Please DO NOT book an apartment if you intend to have a noisy room gathering! It will very likely be shut down.
Quiet Rooms
The hotel will be happy to accommodate for people wishing a quiet room. No audible room gatherings will be permitted by those requesting these rooms. Please request a quiet room when making your reservation. Please also email hotel@vancoufur.org to confirm your request.
Payment procedure
A credit card is required for booking but will NOT be charged until arrival or no-show. YOU WILL BE CHARGED IF YOU BOOK AND DO NOT SHOW!
Cash-only customers can also book a room. Please refer to “Payment procedure”.
If you have any problems booking a room, please email hotel@vancoufur.org immediately. Be sure to state when you called and who you spoke to so we may resolve it.
Credit card is the preferred method for hotel booking. The first guest to arrive must present a credit card to put on file. All rooms will have the total amount of the stay put as a HOLD on the on-file credit card.
Cash-only customers without a credit card will be required to put down their entire stay, plus a $200 refundable deposit. This can be done by cash or interac.
Final bills can be split however you wish at check out. At that time, the unused balance of the credit card hold will be released, and the $200 deposit will be refunded (if applicable).
