Vendors/Art Dealers
If you are thinking of applying to be a vendor at VF2017, PLEASE BOOK A REGULAR ROOM FOR NOW. You can cancel it later if you cannot come/do not get into your vendors area of choice WITH NO CANCELLATION COST. (This is to ensure that you have a room from the get go because the Dealers Den Applications will not be available right away.
Apartments/Penthouses
If you are looking to book one of the upgraded suites (1 & 2 bedroom apartments/Penthouse), PLEASE BOOK A REGULAR ROOM FOR NOW. We will open upgrade applications later and change the booking for you.
Please be aware that you are not guaranteed to get one as they are limited but we will do our best to get people into the room types they want. Parties are NOT allowed in Apartments or Penthouses due to close proximity with RESIDENTS that live in the hotel!
Quiet Rooms
The hotel will happily accommodate people who wish to have a quiet room. No audible room gatherings will be permitted by those requesting these rooms. Please request a quiet room when making your reservation and please email hotel@vancoufur.ca to confirm your request.
Party Rooms
If you are wanting to book a party room, PLEASE BOOK A REGULAR ROOM FOR NOW. We will open party block applications down the road and change the booking for you to be in the party block. PARTY RESPONSIBLY!
- Music must be kept at a reasonable level (100db or lower.)
- Please refrain from talking/screaming or making noise in the hallways.
- Please keep your doors closed at all times and pad your door latch if you intend to prop the door open (socks work well) (this is to avoid noise pollution getting to other parts of the hotel and prevent you from getting noise complaints from other floors!)
- ALL PERSONS CONSUMING ALCOHOL MUST be 19 years of age or older and proof must be shown that rooms are checking if they are dispensing alcohol! (Wristbands, ID check, etc.)
- Please remember that SMOKING AND VAPING are not allowed inside your hotel rooms, on your balcony (if you have one) or on hotel property. There are designated smoking areas, outside and if you do not adhere to them, heavy fines will be assigned to offending rooms. We are told that hotel security will be checking. You have been warned!
- Your room is exclusively YOUR responsibility for the duration of your stay and you will be held responsible for the things that happen in it. If there is something missing or broken in your room upon arrival CONTACT THE FRONT DESK IMMEDIATELY TO INFORM THEM.
- Please party responsibly.
- If you do not book a party room, it is likely that any audible rooms/parties will be shut down. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Checking In
Credit card is the preferred method for hotel booking. The first guest to arrive must present a credit card to put on file. All rooms will have the total amount of the stay put as a HOLD on the onfile credit card. (YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE ENOUGH SPACE ON THE CARD FOR THE HOLD OR IT WILL NOT WORK!) Cash only customers without a credit card will be required to put down their entire stay, plus a $200 refundable deposit. This can be done by cash or interac. Final bills can be split however you wish at check out. At that time, the unused balance of the credit card hold will be released, and the $200 deposit will be refunded (if applicable).

VancouFur's 2017 Charity
VancouFur is please to welcome back O.W.L (Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society) as our 2017 charity.
OWL Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society is a not-for-profit organization whose staff and volunteers are dedicated to conservation through education and the rescue, rehabilitation and release of injured and orphaned birds of prey. OWL specializes in a group of birds called raptors that play a vital role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem; this includes eagles, falcons, hawks, ospreys, owls and vultures. O.W.L. depends solely on public/corporate donations and volunteer support to rescue, rehabilitate and release injured or orphaned raptors.
Bird of prey patients at O.W.L. now number over 600 and are sent mainly from all over British Columbia, as well as other Canadian provinces and the USA. The care centre operates seven days a week and raptor rehab staff are on call on a 24-hour basis to field emergency rescues. Public tours are available daily in July and August and every Saturday and Sunday from September to June between 10:00am and 3:00pm.
